Year 1

{1983}

In year 1 six little ponies came out the colors of the rainbow.  This was the start of  a great tradition and all of these ponies deserve an award.  While I did not receive any of these ponies new, they are still very special to me, because to me they are the beginning of a legacy.

Blossom

I found Blossom at the Stockyards (a local flea market) to fill in the gap and finish off my Flat-Foot collection.  After all my years of searching I have finally found her in fact I found her July 5th 1999 along with a bunch of other Ponies.

Blue Belle

Blue Belle is my first Flat-Footed Pony.  I found her at a flea market in 1994 and she is the First Flat Foot I ever found at a Flea Market. I got her for $1.00. Of course she does have her problems Like a mane that is missing half of the top row but that's not too visible and tail that has some rust.  And her tail is noticeably thin and was cut in places. But she has Blue Stars -though some say these may be faded - making her a rather interesting variation.

This one I won in auction off of eBay and when I compared the two I noticed considerable difference.  Their stars are two different colors.  But both of them are FF's so  I kept them both. Hers is Purple while the other has Blue stars.
She too has her problems like a slight stain over the symbol . And her tail is frizzy.

Butterscotch

This pretty girl I had to have.  I think I got her finally in a lot of eBay she is very mint but she does have a slight black mark on her cheek.  Butterscotch has to be in one of my favorite color combos.

Cotton Candy

Cotton Candy was pretty high on my want list.  I guess that's why I paid $9.00 for her.  But to my dismay she arrived with brown marks and stains on her.  I am currently looking for a better condition one.  Even with the marks her mane is beautiful even if her tail is frizzy.

Minty

Minty actually came to me by surprise the person I was trading with didn't quite understand the word Flat-Foot So instead of getting the FF Butterscotch I thought I was getting I got a Flat Foot Minty and a concave Foot Butterscotch.  She does have a slight Forelock cut but is still very cute.

Snuzzle

I got Snuzzle as part of a lot of eBay but she still was a surprise since I assumed that the one in the lot was the concave foot.  Although if I think about it the ones with concave feet are Mail Order so they should be the harder set to get.
