Year 4

{1986}
Page 1

Year 4 was a very momentous year for My Little Pony.  It was the year that the Movie came out and of course all the characters for the movie.  Now they introduce wild new ideas like the So-Soft Ponies and Beddy Bye eye babies it was so large in fact I had to divide this page into multiple parts.   The So-Soft ponies have to be the largest group Hasbro ever released all at once.

So Soft Ponies

Heart Throb

I found Heart Throb at a Flea Market.  I only paid $.50 cents for her but she is in poor condition.  I am currently looking for a better condition Heart Throb.

Surprise

North Star

Lofty

This pretty girl I got of of eBay and she couldn't be any more mint. She has no flocking loss and her hair still has original curl. She is so gorgeous.

Wind Whistler

Wind Whistler was in my second flea market find. I got her and 17 other My Little Ponies for $1.00 each.  And in all my years of pony hunting I've never found another one. Her mane was re-dyed pink using my favorite technique.

Paradise

Gusty

I found So-Soft Gusty at the flea market.  Baby Gusty was my very first MLP but I never was able to get her Mama.  I finally found her and added her to my collection for $1.00

Buttons

Isn't she so pretty I got her in a nice lot off of eBay she only has a little flocking worn off the tip of her horn.

Ribbon

***********
Ribbon was a birthday present to my sister.  I even helped pick her out.  You see earlier in the year she picked out Baby Ribbon as a Christmas gift and her birthday was closer than mine so when my Mom went shopping for a birthday Gift I asked whether I could get her Mama Ribbon.  Thus Ribbon became the third pony in our collection.  Later my sister sold me all her ponies, 'cause she thought she was too old for them and had wanted the money to buy other things.  They had already been living in my room for a couple of years but I paid her off so she wouldn't have any further claim on them.  This is still our original Ribbon I am however currently looking for one in better condition. She has wear on both her ears and her horn as well as around her lips.

Cupcake

~~~~~~~~~
Cupcake was one of Sundance's ponies. I actually bought her for a birthday gift.  She was in that original lot that I got when Sundance gave me all her ponies.  I have both her and her card.
Shady
*********
Shady was the fifth pony that we added to our collection and my second.  I went to the store with the full intent on buying Gusty.  I had saved up my allowance for weeks and weeks.  But they were all out of Gusty. I was broken-hearted.  But then I saw Shady.  Mom convinced me to get her instead and I did.  This like all the others is my original Shady.
Magic Star
Posey
Isn't she pretty. I had to re-dye her mane because it was white but her tail was left alone because for some reason it was still pink funny right?
Lickety-Split
This Lickety-Split is truly a prize I got her at the flea market in a large lot of ponies. They all were mint like just out of the package. This Lickety-Split still even smells new. Her curls are original I know I should probably fluff out her mane to show them off better but I don't like messing with it. No wear or fading. I got this about five years ago and she has been my treasure ever since.
Cherries Jubilee
Truly
~~~~~~~~~
I always loved Truly.  She was part of Sundance's collection and I played with her every time we got together to play ponies.  I was very happy when she  was given to me with her card.

Even More So-Softs released later that year

Bouncy

Skipity Doo

Scrumptious

Fifi
I got Fifi from Qwaychou in 2009. This girl is MINT. Gorgeous Flocking, Gorgeous original curl. She looked like she just walked off the card.

Hippity-Hop

Another pretty girl who got a dye job.
